UPDATE: We have received late Monday afternoon that Kevin Molino's work visa has cleared and is signing his new contract with the team. Expect official announcement tomorrow from Orlando City.

We reported last week that 2012 USLPRO Most Valuable Player, Kevin Molino, had re-signed with Orlando City Soccer Club, but no official word had been released yet so we poked around for some details.

Sources have told us that Molino has agreed in principle to rejoin the team for a 1-year deal with the financials not being disclosed.

On Saturday we were able to confirm with Orlando City President Phil Rawlins that Molino was waiting for his work visa paperwork to clear with the United States government before he could sign his contract and rejoin the team.

Molino had a productive off-season, scoring a goal for Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean Cup against the Dominican Republic in a 2-1 victory back on December 11th. He also split his time with several trials in Europe with PSZV Eindhoven of the Netherlands and Zulte Waregem of Belgium with an eye on making a permanent move overseas to continue his career.

There's no doubt that Molino has the talent that the team needs in the midfield and likely needs just one more stand-out season before MLS or other clubs will be knocking down his door.
