Front Money Friday: Premier League Week 12

Here we are once again on this Friday afternoon. Getting home from work, school, or whatever else you do during the day and preparing for the soccer-packed weekend ahead. It looks to be another interesting and intense weekend in the Barclays Premier League. Let me give you a few predictions for Week 12 across the pond.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur
You all got lucky again this weekend! The North London derby match on the weekend is my first prediction. Both clubs in the center of England have struggled a little this season. Here comes the time for the real test and a chance for one of them to possibly jump up a few spots in the table. Our American boy Clint Dempsey looks ready for action. Look for him to burst through The Gunners' backline. As long as The Spurs can shut down ol' Jack, they should be good to go.
The Gamble: Tottenham Hotspur

Liverpool vs. Wigan Athletic
Liverpool continue to try to work their way to the top half of the table. Although their spots on the table are right next to each other, the clubs are not so much close in quality players. Maybe last season Wigan would have been more of a match for The Reds.
The Gamble: Liverpool

Newcastle United vs. Swansea City
Another pair of clubs neck and neck in the table come to us this weekend. Swansea have shown great play and quality since their addition to the top flight last season. But then there's Newcastle who, thanks to a great season last year, have Europa League games against quality European competition this season. The extra games against different clubs might give them that extra edge.
The Gamble: Newcastle United

Queens Park Rangers vs. Southampton
A relegation zone matchup awaits us this weekend once again. This time the other London boys take on The Saints. Southampton have some good players, but just need to settle their feet into their first time in the Premier League. QPR on the other hand really has no excuse. They've been in the league before, have players with experience, and have already been in for a season. It looks to be a good battle for safety though.
The Gamble: Southampton

West Bromwich Albion vs. Chelsea
Even though West Brom are sitting in a spot that will give them a chance at Europa League play next year, they do not compare to the world-class players of Chelsea. Unfortunately Odemwingie will never be able to catch up in goals compared to how many his club will concede.
The Gamble: Chelsea

Fulham vs. Sunderland
The men from Craven Cottage look to take on Steven Fletcher and the boys of Sunderland. Saha says he is ready. Adam Johnson is fresh of a confidence-building goal from last weekend. Can they provide the spark the club needs in London?
The Gamble: Fulham

West Ham United vs. Stoke City
Stoke City and our fellow Americans Geoff Cameron and Maurice Edu are looking in solid mid-table form right now. Shawcross is holding down the center of defense pretty well too. Then there is The Hammers of London who have look like they never left this world-class top flight. Stoke City will not go down easily, though, with the speedy Cameron fresh off a 2-2 draw for the United States against Russia.
The Gamble: West Ham United

NO BRAINERS OF THE WEEK:

To the neutral fans' dismay, there are a few easy predictions for this week.

Manchester City vs. Aston Villa:
The Gamble: Manchester City

Reading vs. Everton:
The Gamble: Everton

Manchester United vs. Norwich City:
The Gamble: Manchester United
